The Best of British - Allotments!

Allotments are gaining popularity once again

In parts of the UK such as London, they are
difficult to get due to lack of available land

You meet lots of other people, make new
friends, breathe fresh air, exercise your body
and enjoy a cup of tea ..
from a flask!

I recently ate leeks from a friends allotment,
they were delicious cooked with some butter!

It's a great blog & nice to see some more interest in Allotments - a very "British" tradition indeed

Do you own one? What do you grow, if you do? What would you grow, if you did?

I don't have an allotment, but if I did I would grow potatoes, onions, carrots and brussel sprouts. I can dream!!
